Hi, I'm Sophie!
I'm a Yorkshire wedding photographer based in Doncaster, capturing the real, ridiculous, emotional and downright brilliant bits of your wedding day.
If the thought of spending hours posing for photos makes you want to run a mile, we're going to get along just fine. My approach is relaxed and documentary-led, meaning I'll be there to capture your day as it actually happens - the happy tears, the belly laughs, the dance floor chaos, the hugs, the little details and all the moments you didn't even realise were happening.
I photograph weddings across Yorkshire, from Doncaster and Sheffield to York, the Peak District and beyond. Whether you're planning a big party, an intimate day or something completely outside the traditional wedding rulebook, I'd bloody love to hear about it.

Relaxed, documentary, completely you...
Traditional wedding photography isn't really my thing.
I don't want to spend your wedding day lining you up, posing you for hours or pulling you away from your favourite people. Instead, I work quietly in the background, keeping an eye out for all the good stuff as it unfolds.
I'll give you a little direction when you need it (especially if you're feeling awkward in front of the camera), but for the most part I'm there to let you get on with enjoying yourselves.
Think of me as your fly-on-the-wall with a camera.
My photography is all about genuine moments, personality and atmosphere - with a few relaxed prompts thrown in when needed. Because years from now, I want your photographs to take you straight back to how your wedding day actually felt.
YOUR WEDDING, YOUR WAY...
I bloody love couples who do things differently.
The ones who aren't bothered about following every wedding tradition. The ones who want a day that feels like them, whether that's a relaxed countryside wedding, a city celebration or an intimate ceremony with your favourite people.
Your wedding doesn't need to look like anyone else's - and your photographs shouldn't either. So bring the dogs. Wear the leopard print. Have the disco. Skip the bits you don't care about. Do whatever the hell you want.I'll be there to document it all.
GET TO KNOW ME...
I'm Sophie - Yorkshire gal, photographer and very enthusiastic dog mum to a Romanian rescue. When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me outside somewhere. I love wandering around the Peaks, Dales and Lake District, preferably followed by brunch and an oat milk cappuccino.
I'm also partial to a good book, a glass of fizz and autumn - basically anything that involves being cosy, eating nice food or being outdoors.
If you're a fellow dog lover, countryside wanderer, brunch enthusiast or just someone who doesn't take life (or weddings) too seriously, I reckon we'll get along just fine. I'd love to hear all about your plans.
